August 14th, 2011--

My summer concert was held at White Oak Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.

Several of my piano students and friends were able to attend in addition to the congregation at White Oak. This year I was so excited to have a student of mine add a power point slide show to most of my song selections. The visual aid adds so much to the piano music. Most of the songs I have written this past year have been about places in America, so I added some arrangements of patriotic songs and came up with a new collection called "A Tribute to America and Our Spiritual Heritage". There were a lot of historical facts and family genealogical trivia shared in the concert.

Watch for upcoming concerts--I would like to do one in Northern Indiana next spring or summer.
